We were so excited to get our new patterns and samples in the mail from Make It Perfect the fabrics we chose have come up a treat and as you can see look absolutely gorgeous on Kendall.
Kendall is wearing Fancy Pants, Pinny #2 and the Flipsy skirt.
Its always nice to get together and sew with some girlfriends and last weekend I did just that. After working at the shop on Saturday it was off to a friends house for takeaway, a glass of wine and lots of sewing mixed with an occasianal chick flick.
Laura and Wendy made bags for themselves while I worked on a bag for Georgia my 16 year old daughter who has just left for 3 months in Japan (and yes girls I did have a little cry at the airport much to Georgia's embarrassment in front of her Japanese class).
We had declared the day to be Georgia's day so when at 10.30 Saturday night she decided yes she did like the bag it was off to the shop to get some fabric. I must say Wendy did a great job helping Georgia to choose the green apples it looked amazing as the front of the bag as I'm sure you will agree.
"A mothers love" It's at times like this that you look at your own mother and see her through different glasses, we mothers are a funny bunch and staying up until 1am finishing a bag for a 16 year old seemed quite normal when you are sewing with your friends.
P.S Thanks Wendy and Laura for the girl time. (Wendy I hope the house is back to normal !!)
